"Okay, so maybe you could go for it part time? You know, do a little of that first to see if you'll like it.'' Listen to him giving career advice. And to Brooklyn of all the people. Who would have thought? Hehe. "Just don't take too long to decide. Don't want life to catch up and you're still trying to decide what you want to do.'' In Adi's opinion, having a goal and keeping your focus on it was the best way to achieve said goal.

At this point, Brooklyn was just happy she nearly always remembered sunblock. If she’d thought she would’ve been standing out here for this long, she probably would’ve worn a hat. Maybe even some sunglasses, too. At least then she could roll her eyes whenever she wanted, since whoever she was rolling them at wouldn’t even know it was happening. Sunglasses were good for so many things. Unfortunately, though, she didn’t have them at this exact moment, as Adi had felt the need to speak again and mention random facts she hadn’t particularly cared about. She couldn’t comprehend why he would have thought she’d find the translation of his name interesting, at all. She really didn’t, and she didn’t think it was fun either way. Just random.

She’d managed to keep her eye roll entirely internal, though, for which she was proud. It had definitely happened though. He just didn’t need to know it. “Why?,” she asked, skipping to the discussion of her career. Royalty didn’t need a career. Didn’t he understand that? “Life wouldn’t dare.” Nope. She had complete control over what happened to her. If anything tried to challenge her, she’d just find someone else to handle it for her. That was what they were there for, after all. She hadn’t thought up that potion to make people do things before for no reason.
