First they were supposed to mess up the spell. Well, this first-year here was an expert at that. Hah. Was the professor finally playing to their strengths or was it just him? Slouching a little, Davie crossed his arms and leaned on his desk, half-heartedly, lazily pointing his wand at the worm.
"Fliiiiiiintifffffffforssssssssss," he drawled, adding a little yawn at the end to see if it would do anything. He watched as the worm gave a twitch, a bit of a flop, and then straightened up and poked it.
Nope, nothing. So he supposed he'd done that part right, as wrong as it was.
