They were here for trading and exchanging, EVEN exchanging, since this was a tea party for GUYS.

He had even dressed up for the occasion, though he was resting his cloak over his shoulders in case no one else dressed up, and he'd set up his tea party in the back corner of the kitchen. He was hoping that if no one else joined him, at least a house elf would take pity on him and would help him out. Toddles, maybe? Ugh. Muggles were weird and cool and all, and he loved tea, but WHAT IF NO ONE CAAAAAAAAAME?!!

Davie munched on a cookie while he waited.
It was absolutely remarkable. Tickle a piece of furniture and there was suddenly a secret entrance that he could go through. Why had no one told him about this sooner? The boy was often hungry after meal times, did no one think knowing where the KITCHEN was would prove useful? Merlin!

But yes, there was a kitchen behind a large portrait of a fruit bowl and now he would never go hungry again. Blaise stepped through dressed in his best suit, clutching his chocolate frog cards tightly in their little holding case. There was all sorts of anticipation as he heading in. What would it look like? Would there always be food prepared and waiting for someone to take? Was Davie there yet??

The only answer he got was Davie being there--wait, food! Real food! The Gryffindor walked over with a spring in his step and placed his little box of chocolate frog cards on the table.

"It's meant to be pretend tea." He said, noting the actual one that was prepared. "Reckon the food's meant to be pretend too but don't worry, we can pretend they're pretend." Because he wasn't getting rid of this stuff, no way. Eating would happen, then they could tell the Professor how great they were at pretending they weren't eating real food. SUCH IMAGINATION MUCH WOW!

Davie hadn't mentioned inviting girls, especially not loud Ellery but Blaise smiled at both her and Charlotte anyway. Pretend tea Parties with real food, he was a happy kid.
