It seemed to have heard them because it tossed that great, big head to look at them with flashing orange eyes. "Keep a firm eye contact with it and try not to blink. Follow my lead.'' You know, just in case the creature decided to focus more on her than him. Adi too was trying to maintain as much eye contact as he could as they approached.

He stopped a goodish distance, bowed as he still maintained eye contact and waiting for Olathe to do the same.
