"Oh, I got a secret Santa letter from somebody and it was nice... Plus, Henric had asked me to see football next weekend!" Her sister wouldn't know football though but she just wanted to tell her.

"I miss you. And why you didn't want to spend Christmas with us?" Ava suddenly asked her sister.

Zhenya just had to chuckle at Ava's protests at being called little.

And the present - "Of course it's for you, silly!" Zhenya hoped she would like it, and find use for us. Well, of course she would find use for it, unless she already had the book. Hopefully not. But not going to open it yet? WHAA? Zhenya could never understand how people could leave present opening until later. "Oh, Teddy's not coming. I just wanted it to be us girls." Yep, no boy zone. "What did you want? I'll buy." She was a wage earner now.

"Ahh Duelling club, how is that going? I wish they had that when I was at school." She would have loved doing it. "Is Teddy doing it?" Though Zhenya would put a guess in to say no.

And eyebrow RAISE. "Henric? As in Hufflepuff Henric?" Of course Zhenya knew Henric. He was lovely. But... a bit old, wasn't he? No, it wouldn't be anything like that. Zhenya shook her head to herself, clearing that thought away. "Hmm so where is the... football?" Where did they play that game? Not at Hogwarts, surely.

Ahh, Christmas. Zhenya sighed. "Ava I don't see mum and dad anymore. I haven't seen them in a long time, and I don't want to see them now." She didn't expect Ava to understand, and she wasn't about to explain it to her. "I'm sorry I didn't see you guys, I'll try to see you next year or something." Away from the family home. No, she couldn't even think about her parents, moreso her mother, without fuming inside.
