Ben retrieved a strand of the caterpillar silk from where it was collected alongside the wood and went about attaching it to both ends. It sure was strong to not break but still pretty flexible to work with some give. The Gryffindor might not have naturally considered it as the material but then centaurs no doubt had their well-spring of knowledge above humans like Thereos seemed to like pointing out. With it taut, he grabbed for his wand once more.
A name for the bow was a trying notion. Just what could he use? He looked over at Adi's work, noticing his friend already carving and softly smiling at the name and the seemongly homage to him. A trusted tool named for a beloved friend. Seemed only right he return the favor and it took a few minutes of thinking....plus the occasional glance at the Hufflepuff...to come up with something he saw fit.
"Intaglio..." he finally cast on the wood where it was to be carved, the image of 'Southern Sun' clear in his mind as he worked. The words soon appearing in his created instrument.
