Collecting everyday waste for compost was something that Paulina had done a fair number of times, so she had no problem doing this extra credit assignment.
It was EASY.
And it helped NATURE.
In an empty coffee tin she had accumulated: scrap pieces of parchment, banana peels (she had shredded them to help them break down faster), tofu, ground up egg shells, pencil shavings, a few tea bags, leaves from plants that she had trimmed, and some peanut shells.
Dumping everything into the bin, Paulina made her way back to the castle. |
