Thinking was overrated with him as a few knew already.
Needing his hands to be doing something, he took the menu to flip through. Oh a nice cheese sandwich. Hm. Delicious. That would go great with the Fish and Chips. Yep. Done with that as he placed it down before moving to kick his feet back. Just in time to see "Zach!" waving him over before standing up.
As for someone watching, please, this was Justin. He had nothing to hide as he pulled Zach into a nice tight snake-like hug before a planting one on his cheek. "Good to see you, mate. It's been way too long." Which was an understatement. He then gestured towards the seat he so graciously saved. "Got your drink right here." Sliding one of the butterbeers over, it was a rare thing along with his patience. "Sooooo what's Zacharoni been up to lately?" Taking a sip of his drink. Zach returned the tight hug and planted a kiss on the man's cheek in greeting. He was instantly feeling better (and warmer) upon seeing him. "You're telling me," he said. At least Justin had lots to do to keep him busy. Zach was thinking about taking up a part time job in between seasons. "Thanks," he said as he plopped down into his seat. He took his butterbeer and took a nice, long sip, enjoying the warmth from it. It was TOO cold outside. Zach placed a hand on Justin's knee, partially just to be close and partially to keep his hand warm.
What had he been up to? "Not a whole lot, to be honest. Been spending time with the family. Went out with Geff a few times for some drinks." Zach flipped open the menu and scanned through the items, trying to decide what he was hungry for. "Took up knitting..." Which was a lie. That was at the bottom of his boredom list. |
