What was better, was the chocolate star she was offering him, he beamed at her across the table. "Thanks," he replied simply, unable to refuse the offering. When did he ever say no to chocolate? Or well... how often did he say no to chocolate? Because it couldn't be denied that he had done so before.
The chocolate didn't last long, not much did when it concerned his stomach and sensory wellbeing. He loved all things sweet.
But at least she agreed to accompany him. He'd do better with her to keep him out of trouble, or else he'd probably just play hooky and try to catch a bus into town. They had bus services outside, right? Nevertheless, ROCK TOUCHING.
Zeke led the way, holding the door open for Hady to pass through first, as per their negotiations, and soon they found themselves in the room with halls that had STUFF in it. there were cases with items and other displays, there were lights and animations glowing on the walls.... but he walked right past all those things. Boring. Rocks were less boring. In fact, he wondered how awesome a dragon made out of SPACE ROCK would be. Where the heck was Amur when he needed her?
"Here it is!" he announced triumphantly, turning to Hady. "Four point five billion years old, see, told you it was old." And without further ado, HE TOUCHED IT. Rubbed his hand on it. All over it. His world was now complete, and his field trip was officially worth it. Because there was nothing else here.... right?
Hady grinned at him when her offered piece of star chocolate was accepted. No one could turn down chocolate. Especially star shaped chocolate! That she was offering none-the-less! It just wasn't possible. Yum.
After enjoying her last bit of sweetness she let herself be lead towards the Rock Touching Gallery place or whatever it was. Yeah she wasn't entirely even sure where it was she was going. Oops. The company was welcomed of course as it always was when her bestie was concerned. Sorry everyone else.
When they finally came to it had she was told by the Gryffindor just how old this rock was she stared at it. A very very old rock. Hady smiled a little bit and nodded. "Incredibly old," she agreed. It was. There was no denying the fact that it was an OLD rock. After Zeke had pet the rock or rubbed the rock or whatever it was the boy was doing she simply laid her hand upon it. That was all. Her hand rested on the rock lightly as she continued to look at it. Could she like make a wish on this really old rock or something, or was this is? It was old... VERY old, and he'd now officially been there and done that. He could safely cross off: TOUCH REALLY OLD ROCK FROM SPACE, off of his bucket list.
Mission accomplished.
But really, he was bored. He needed entertaining now, or else finding a bus or some randoms to give them a lift was going to move to the top of his list of things-to-do-on-this-field-trip. "Anywhere you wanna go?" he asked, once he was sure Hady was done with the rock too. Yeah. It was just a rock. Though that had him wondering... how many people had touched it before them? It was hardly a clean rock was it?
