Hogwarts RPG Name: Amur Neverwinter Fourth Year | ~ Rise and Rise Again, Until Lambs become Lions ~ Quote:

Lex turned the corner into the office area, hardly looking left or right as she made her way to her corner of the room. Only problem was, by the time she got close enough, she realized there was someone else that felt her corner would make a good stop for the morning.
First thought? Turn and head back out, screw that file and work with the others she was in possession of. Actual action? Lex continued toward her corner, taking a deep breath as she did. This......wasn't something she could keep putting off. It was her least favourite topic in the entire world to be sure but it also concerned a topic that mattered very much to her at the same time.
The young woman came to a silent stop next to him and with a wordless flick of her wand, levitated her documents to her. Words would happen eventually; she was still working on it. There was a strange thing that happened with brain connections first thing in the morning. They didn't always work.
So when Rhydian saw files suddenly up and moving and floating, it took a few seconds for him to comprehend what was going on. That was, to figure out that there was a person beside him, using magic. Fancy that. The second thing that took a moment to comprehend? Who exactly was standing beside him.
Sure, he'd thought about it more than he should have in the past few weeks. Worked on what he would say, how he would act and all the rest. Being in the moment however? Didn't really work like that. In fact, it was about the exact opposite. His brain went a bit fuzzy, there was some sort of prickly sensation drawing up his arms and his gut did all sorts of flips and twists. His mouth? Dry. It took a few seconds to work his tongue around before he found enough courage to speak. "...You know, it's amazing that all wizards and witches aren't fat slobs with how lazy our wands allow us to be." Brilliant. Bloody brilliant. Knob.
Turning slightly, Rhydian considered Lex from the corners of his eyes. He couldn't help but stare a little, but not in a bad way. It just felt like an age since he had seen her. "You're looking good, though." As in not fat or slobbish. Maybe even a bit skinnier. Hard to tell from this visual angle.
