Regardless of the type of work they do, each Environmental employee has a work station here. A colour scheme of greens and whites is prominent in this are and helps to set it aside from the Creatures work area. A large window stretches across one of the walls from floor to ceiling, depicting an ever-changing scenery. On one side of the work area sits a large cabinet full of various essentials that the employees are free to use. From spare quills to stacks of parchment, this cabinet has it all. Attached to the cabinet sits a small bookshelf, full of books on botany, weather and other environment-based novels that the employees can use. The Department Head simply asks that you return it in its rightful place once you’re done with it.

Clusters of desks can be found around the work area, each divided by divisions within the department to make it easier for the employees to interact with their division. Comfy green and black chairs are found sitting near pristine white work surfaces. Each desk comes with a small chest of drawers and a nameplate for the employees to use. Simply write your name down on the piece of parchment in the nameplate, give it a tap and it should stay there for as long as you wish.

The work area is an open area rather than a room, meaning that you can visit other areas within the level and, at times, can see people walking past. Hopefully, this doesn’t distract you too much. A noticeboard sits along another side of the wall, right near Mrs. Howell's office where the Department Head will put up any important notices for the whole Department to see.
