Paulina judged that the cushion located slightly forward and to the left side was a good place for her to make the first jump. There were others that she could have chosen, but she didn't feel too confident when it came to making jumps.
Better to be safe than sorry.
Putting all she could into it, she leaped off of her cushion and onto the next, almost falling into the lava in the process. That had been a little TOO close for comfort, but at least she was a little closer to the back of the room. The question was where to go from here...
Paulina looked around to see what was the best course of action because she didn't want to jump on any cushions that were otherwise occupied or were about to be occupied. A collision probably wouldn't be a good idea and she didn't want to get hurt.
Maybe she could try the one right in front of her; it was a little further away than the other one had been, but she could probably make it across with no real difficulty. Thinking that there was nothing else to do but go for it, Paulina jumped. |
