"Some older students were talking about this one class where their Professor took them down there. Heard it's a pretty decent slope, we just gotta watch our step." So even the trip DOWN would be an adventure without them breaking their necks. Neat, huh??

"It'll be great. They didn't say what was at the bottom when I was walking by but that's okay! We don't need them ruining the surprise anyway." He said, turning with his grin still in place as he walked backward to keep her in view.

It wasn't that he thought she'd bolt at any minute but rather, it might have helped her feel more okay with her choice.
