Quill in hand, Janelle wrote the first spell she could think of on her tag. Zeke extended his legs out in front of him, there was only so long he could sit cross-legged, and it wasn't very long at all. His arms were behind him, keeping him sitting upright, but he managed a wave as Janelle passed him by. He was actually meaning catch her about something... maybe after class if he remembered. So with a grin and her arms crossed behind her back, Maggie entered the classroom. Oh. No desks today? Interesting. Not that she minded. Those mats looked comfortable. "Hello Professor Baxter." Glorious day today, wasn't it? And it was warm in here too. She really had to ask for that warming spell.
Maybe there was one you could just cast around yourself while outside?
Grabbing one of the tags, she took the long way round to be able to lightly tap her fingers against Zeke's back while passing by. HIIII! She grinned at him before choosing a mat next to a Gryffindor (Angel) she hadn't really talked with. Dante and Hady got a grin too. HELLO! She then quickly fished out her quill to write a spell on her tag.
Feeling fingers against his back, Zeke looked up to find the source of the distraction... Maggie, a VERY welcome distraction at that. He grinned broadly, returning her silent greeting with one of his own. Hi GIRLFRIEND. He watched as she moved further back to sit beside Angel, wishing she were closer. Honestly, what ever happened to democratic classrooms and having a choice where one sat?
He peered back to the front, waiting for the lesson to begin, but he couldn't resist looking back a few more times.
