Should he tell her the notepad did that all on its own if she wanted? He was about to when she finally answered his question regarding her hat.

"Oh. So then, you like it when it fits that way?" It was a wonder she could proper see where she was going. Or maybe she'd been trained that way from years of doing it. Something his quill could make sound interesting.

Speaking of..."Yeah. I like taking things down with my quick quotes quill--or well...I like when it takes things down. It makes the world an interesting place to live in even when there's nothing really going on." He wrote too but not about the sort of things his quill wrote so it was always a refreshing change.

"S'not so great for notes in class though."
