Paulina could never understood how people could live in a country and never learn the language. "Where in America do you live? Where are you moving to?" She wondered if Hady was from the same area that she was.

Getting started on the tree made Paulina feel that Christmas was really taking off. It just wouldn't be the same without a Christmas tree. "I think that's a good idea," she said in response to the question about levitation. "We will definitely need it to put the star on top." For now, however, she would be content with placing ornaments upon the shorter branches.
