Honestly, she wasn't even being rude. She was minding her own business, studying, and he interrupted her, so really HE was the rude one at the moment. He deserved attitude.

Evie turned her eyes back to her textbook to continue her studying, only to be interrupted again by the Head Boy (who was neglecting his duties; did he not SEE the crackers she was blatantly eating in front of him?). She looked up at his 'wondering' and gave him a thoughtful look. "I'm not sure what you mean... I've been here the whole time. Studying."

She knew exactly what he meant. But if he wanted to poke at her, he was going to have to try a little harder.
