"Good," she said, eating her cheesecracker and returning her gaze to her studying that she was obviously doing. "Keeps people wondering." Was he wondering? Or just trying to find a good reason to start talking to her so he could tell her off for being mean to his girlfriend? Because, really, she'd LOVE to be a part of that conversation.
