He did nothing for a moment but stood there and waited to see if the woman would act. A moment passed, and then another... and another... Eventually, Daxton creased his brow and looked at his notebook. No, it all seemed very clear what he wanted from Baxter, and yet... nothing.

There was another long moment of thought, before Daxton pushed his pen out of the spiral binding of the notebook and made a few amendments to his message, and added an extra sentence. When he was done, the Ravenclaw turned his notebook back and showed it to the professor once he was done, so the adjustments were visible.

'These block out too much noise and I want them to be a different colour. I want you to change them.'

Maybe that was clearer - though it baffled Daxton as to why it would need to be any clearer - and exactly what he wanted was emphasised, as well as the fact that he wanted Baxter to do it for him. There was no telling when he would be able to accomplish such practical magic.
