It was sometime in the afternoon and Evie was actually being productive. No friends, no boyfriends, not distractions, just studying and doing homework. She was, however, breaking a library rule and eating cheese crackers. Evie was sitting criss cross on the chair, with a little plastic baggy of bite-size crackers in the middle and she was somewhat sneakily eating them while reading and highlighting her notes for class.
Occasionally, she would glance up to make sure Kitridge wasn't nearby so she could eat sneakily. But the coast was still clear. Because Evie could NOT study without food or else she would just end up THINKING about food the whole time and not actually study much. |
