Dot had decided their goblet!unicorn was as good as it was going to get. Not all the way there, but the shape was right, the material was right, and the horn really added something to it. Unicorn goblet.
"Do you remember the incantation to undo something you've changed that hasn't really worked out properly?" Because at some point, Dot wanted her unicorn back.
"I think this is... fine. We've mastered goblet making! We're amazing! Let's make it... into something more in line with its density and weight and see if that helps. Like a mushroom. Those are dead light, but don't eat this once on account of I don't know what will happen." And in the meantime, she would let rest the idea of her being smart or not smart or whatever. "Fungifors."
Dot drew the 'n' with her wand and squinted at the goblet!unicorn. She'd done this one in class with some success, and she wasn't totally surprised when it took on a red capped look. Still horned and metallic, but GOOD START.
