transfiguration hw 1 post 5 A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.
Before dinner officially started, Yoongi wanted to practice his last transfiguration spell. He had checked off all the other spells he had practiced and so that left him with vera verto. A second grade spell which wouldn't be too hard to do.
As he walked in to the great hall, the Gryffindor was distracted by the floor. It was so...shiny and and...reflectory....was that even a word? How had he never seen that before? Maybe because he had only been in here with the rest of the school and so it had been too crowded to check it out. As he sat down at a random table, not even sure which one it was, the sixth year checked his own appearance on the floor.
As he was styling his hair with his hand, he suddenly heard one of the students using spells and he looked up. Spotting a slytherin practicing the vera verto spell before leaving the area, Yoongi was suddenly reminded of the real reason he was here.
Turning around to face the table, he grabbed a goblet and put it in front of him. As the spell was very easy to do verbally for him, he decided to give it a try non-verbally right away. He had had success with non-verbal spells a few times now so he was confident enough that it would work again. He tapped the goblet three times and thought 'vera verto!'
The goblet changed and became more watery but then it stopped and half of the goblet was solid while the other half was water. With a sigh because he hadn't expected to fail, Yoongi transformed the goblet back to its original state and tried again. Three taps and then 'vera verto' The same thing happened but this time it got better. A third time practice showed that he had now successfully transfigured a goblet in to a water goblet.
Clapping at his own work, he kept the transfigured water goblet with him and pocketed his wand in his wrist holster. Time for some food~
