transfiguration hw 1 post 4 A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.
Out of all the places he had practiced the most obvious place hadn't crossed his mind until now. Funny how the mind works. Plus the practice room was far warmer than being outside in the snow and it was more quiet right now as he was the only one in here.
There wasn't much to see in this room though. No furniture or anything. Just a tall room with windows looking out at the grounds. He wasn't going to look out of the window to check the view though. He knew the transfiguration class was up at the sixth floor and that was hiiiigh.
The Gryffindor found a place to sit against a wall and got out his wand. He placed it beside him on the ground before taking out a pencil case from his bag. This should be good enough to practice Flintifors on. As this was a lower grade transfiguration spell, of course Yoongi knew how to do it but he still wanted to practice it. Because practicing over and over again was never a waste of time.
Pointing his wand at the pencil case, the Gryffindor flicked his wand upwards and mumbled. "Flintifors" in a second, the case transfigured in to a match box. Practicing was far more fun when a spell went right at the first try. But maybe that was because this was a lower grade spell... And if he couldn't do this one then wow...
Transfiguring the match box back to its original item, Yoongi moved around until he sat with his legs crossed. The hard ground wasn't really comfortable to sit on though but he wasn't sure how to conjure up a pillow. So instead he focused on the spell again and tried it verbally for a second time. The case transfigured in to a box immediately. He wished he was as good as this in other classes like potions and herbology.
Alright, time for the real challenge! trying it non-verbally. He changed the box back again and then re-pointed his wand. With a flick upwards he thought 'Flintifors' and to his surprise, the pencil case transformed!. No Hyland, don't get excited, keep your focus! He had learned from his past mistakes apparently because instead of cheering and clapping, he kept calm and focused on the spell. As the pencil case turned smaller and the colors changed, Yoongi felt really proud of himself. He grinned as he picked up the little matchbox and examined it. It looked really good if he said so himse--- the box had changed back again. Maybe he should practice more...
But not now though. The sixth year checked his watch and saw that it was almost dinner time. He placed the pencil case back in his school bag and stood up before walking out of the room.
