"Then you do the former history professors. I only know of Glendower." Because having to put on costumes and 'act' out history during her lessons was still ever-present in his mind, even though he remembered very little about the subject-matter. Plus he didn't spend his free time thinking about old professors. But he did have confidence that he could easily fake headmaster names.
He simply shook his head when the redhead asked if current professors counted as she climbed into his shoulders. The blond was sure they didn't, since he knew that former meant no longer there or dead. So there would be no shouting the ghost lady professor or Bostros' names. For once Frankie liked where Brooklyn was going with that; it would have been two less people to try to name.
Faces were made when the Slytherin got up on his shoulders. The Gryffindor did his best to not grunt or make rude comments about how a certain someone must've ate one too many pumpkin pasties. He was a little too focused on getting candy for that. "Doing alright up there, Brookie?" he asked as he made the first step toward a candy basket. And was she was ready to rattle off some history professors? He was more than prepared to drop her if she didn't. Just saying. Yes, Brooklyn saw that look. She just chose to ignore it, since she didn’t particularly care what Frankie’s reaction to her two word question was. The only thing she knew for sure was that they were either going to have to make up a lot of names or fail. She wasn’t knowledgeable about a ton of former professors or headmasters. There was always the idea of copying what others were saying, though. She’d noted that Adi and Benny had already started going for the candy, after all, and a few other pairs. There weren’t any rules against copying that she was aware of, plus if anyone asked, she’d just use her family members as her excuse. Several of the names had sounded familiar anyway. She’d just have to remember them.
“Fine then,” she replied, as he’d tried to make a deal. It was his loss if they each had to list off both, although she wasn’t positive at all she could get five names of professor along with five heads. It’d be a lot easier to just do one or another, even if that still wouldn’t be easy. Considering she only knew of Professor Glendower for sure too. This activity seemed an awful lot like it was catered toward the older students.
She hadn’t really expected a favorable answer to her other question either. It had just been hope, but not even a lot of that either. Right now, she was more focused on making sure that she didn’t get dropped. At least ballet helped with that. She could balance pretty well, and she was already planning on blaming it on him if she hit the floor. He should be trying to make sure that he didn’t drop her anyhow.
Oh, and maybe he actually was. She’d glanced down as she heard his question, choosing to ignore the name again. She wasn’t letting him intentionally annoy her. “Course.” She was perfect. That shouldn’t have been a question at all. Except, the candy basket was coming awfully close…
“Nessarose Glendower, Gemma Cerulean, Professor Binns, Tiberius Dursley, Anjelica Lainey.” There. Five professors. Now it was back to him.
