After the class had dispersed, Sabel had decided that he didn't particularly want to have the conversation he needed to have standing out in the misty forest. The temperature had dropped some, and he wasn't unaware of a certain student's bear feet.

So, he had led Adair and Prince back to the castle with barely a word. Now, in the entrance hall, where it was warmer but still had that uncomfortableness of being called out after class.

Turning to face the two kids, Sabel gave them both a long, dragging moment of consideration. At last, he spoke, softly but firmly. "Want to tell me what that was all about?"

And no, that wasn't a voluntary question. The inflection was merely a courtesy of appearing polite.
