It was a nice and peaceful day so Paulina decided that it was the perfect time for her to work on the Transfiguration homework.
She planned to try out all five of the listed spells as opposed to two or three. This would prove to be more of a challenge and was welcome when she needed to practice for the NEWT in any case. Fortunately she had some experience with the spells so she wasn't going into this totally unexperienced.
Making her way over to the courtyard, she found a spot on one of the benches. It was cold outside but that was no problem for her because she had a winter coat; she also knew how to cast hot air charms. Later on she would move back inside the castle but for now she liked where she was seated.
Smiling, Paulina looked around her surroundings to find something to use. Her eyes landed on a small rock. It would do perfectly. Picking it up she placed it beside her on the bench before taking out her wand. "Fuhn-gee-FORS... Fuhn-gee-FORS..." She repeated the spell a few times under her breath just to get the hang of saying it. Once she was satisfied she began making 'n' shapes with her wand.
It was time for her to try out the spell. "Fungifors!" Now she had a little mushroom. How cute. Paulina decided to keep it because Professor York never said that they had to revert the objects. |
