Rejoice in the sight of the snow, even stick your hands in it, Christmas has treated Hogwarts with its very own miracle. Ho Ho Ho!
Austin's silence costed him a few conversations, and possibly some new friends. Which was the whole point of his fourth year. But after break was a new year, and he could start again then. For now, he was happy with his potions book. Which was suddenly becoming very sparkly.
Looking up, he realized it was snowing. Uh, who called it? He was really glad he wore a sweater. But when he reached his hand out the 'snow' that landed wasn't cold. Maybe he didn't need a sweater after all.
"This is amazing!" Maybe it was the Christmas spirit, or maybe it was the fact that the Great Hall looked amazing with the sparkle. But Austin really was feeling better. He had closed his potions books, and had actually grabbed some food from the feast that wasn't strawberries. This was turning out to be a better Christmas then he thought.
