Maggie just stared at him for a few seconds. Like. He'd just answered his own question no??? Boys. Seriously. "Because. You. Kissed. Kaycee." She replied, enunciating every word to make sure he understood. Gosh, it was like speaking to a toddler. She rolled her eyes.

Only a kiss. Right. She'd heard. "Yeah at least it wasn't like a proper kiss." Maggie huffed slightly, taking a step back. Which somehow made it better. Although she wasn't sure how. It just did. She took another step back.

They were way too close otherwise. Way too close.
