As Tia entered the Great Hall, she couldn't help but feel mixed emotions. Christmas was always a joyous time of year for her, especially when she got to be home with her ever growing family. Her aunts and uncles and cousins and grandparents and so much food. Of course Christmas feasts - the last two that she'd experienced anyway - were pretty fulfilling as well. She loved being at Hogwarts but tonight she didn't feel hungry for much of anything. And she normally had quite the appetite.
Tonight though, the sixth year just found herself taking a seat near one of the welcoming fires and watching the flickering flames, she pulled her knees up to her chest and breathed slowly. In and out, watching, relaxing. Just enjoying the moment.
