Making sure his gloves were secure, having barely registered that he had put them on at some point, Benny turned to the aforementioned collections of dirt. The seventh year took a couple of handfuls from the nearest one, spreading the material over the bottom of the crate. Clearly not enough, he repeated the process a few times, finally satisfied when there was dirt nearly halfway up the sides.
