Zander would rather be working with actual plants instead of rotten fruit. But maybe they'd be using their compost in some of the next few lessons, yeah? After all, the Professors always had a funny way of circling things around and around again. So yeah, he wouldn't be too unwilling to do this compost stuff.
As long as they didn't end up smelling like it by the end of class. Because he still stood by his first thought walking in. This place smelled like garbage. Merlin, even the greenhouses smelled nicer when Bentley was teaching here. Probably had something to do with her charm and all of that.
So Zander just nodded along to the additional answers and took a couple of notes too 'cause you never know when they stuff will crop up on NEWTs. Always good to stay prepared, y'know? Ahem.
