This class was completely ridiculous.
Daxton resented all of these positive energy classes, but Herbology was a core subject and that made it harder to miss too many classes without someone noticing. He had remained resolutely silent since entering the Greenhouse, only sneezing those quiet little sneezes of him on account of all the plants (he had not yet got the hang of the Anti-Allergen Potion, and refused to drink a potion someone else had made).
And as for holding hands in a circle?
No.
Avoiding it had not exactly been hard, only a matter of standing behind a tall older student until the ridiculousness had passed, and then going off to find a space in the room. He watched the professor with a stony expression on his face, and remained utterly silent. The question was so easy - basic stuff - that Daxton likely would have refrained from answering even if it was something he could do. And so he just eyed the man.
Judging.
And occasionally sneezing.
