Ohhh a nice big girl was saying she could help her and someone called Paulina! That was sooo nice.

She was about to answer but her attention was caught a second later by a wave.

Oh it was ROONEY! Her... uh..... tumbleweed-making friend! And he had just called her a PRINCESS so Charlotte thought he was even cooler now. She liked compliments! Char waved back, all smiles TOO. Professor York? She was quite cool, Char thought. And Toddles? Oh! House elf! She liked those! Oh but the other girl had just said she could decorate with them, and they LOOKED like probably they could really do with her help (because she was a candy cangel and obviously you wanted one of those for tree decorating), and the girl had asked first.

DILEMMA.

Not sure what to do, instead of answering either offer, Char stuck her arms out (shaping her hands into an appropriate hook shape), stared at Rooney, and informed him, them, and anyone within a five mile radius:

"My arms are candy canes!"

"Maybe you can give one arm to them and one arm to us -- although that is kind of impossible." Unless she wanted to really split herself in two and find difficulty in reattaching herself without extensive help. Plus, her wings may not last the separation of her arms. They were attached to her body, were they not? Teehee.

Roo gave her an apologetic smile and then a shrug. "You can work with them, Miss Charlotte. We don't mind." He was sure he could catch her a little bit later to talk more about their plans for the new year and auditioning for her archenemy. He'd been working non a list of traits best for that kind of deal and was very close to finishing it up.

"PS. Your arms ARE candy canes."

Yeah, she was cool.
