Oliver just shrugged. He had no interest in becoming prefect, but it wasn't like he was against the idea. If this boy wanted to do that, good for him. Other people could be in charge and do all the work.
"I don't think those two things are quite the same." Minister for Magic was a much bigger job than prefect. They had to watch over the entire
country, not just a bunch of schoolchildren. They had power over
everyone. It did sound nice, but also like a lot of work. So someone else could do it, this boy or Ellery, and he could be on their good side to get some of the benefits without any of the work.
Oliver shrugged again at the boy's next question.
"I don't think school is what's really important. It's what comes after school." So no, he did not particularly care about holding some important position while in school. He turned back to the yearbook in front of him and flipped through a few pages. Huh?
