Only whispering in her ear wasn't really any better than kissing her. DID HE KNOW THAT THAT WAS WHY THEY HAD GOT CAUGHT IN THE FIRST PLACE?!?! Maggie took a deep breath and closed her eyes briefly before looking back up at him. Simply to give herself something to do she broke off a piece of cake too. Instead of eating it herself though she held it up to Zeke's lips.
"So do you like it?" The cake. He moved the chocolate cake around his mouth a little, letting the frosting melt on his tongue. It was good stuff. But because it was good stuff, and because he didn't mess around with his food (much) he swallowed the deliciousness before licking his lips.
Oh? Maggie wasn't going to indulge in the cake herself?
Pity.
He eyed the piece she was holding up to his lips, a grin spreading quickly.
"I do," he replied, holding her gaze for a moment before succumbing to the cake she was taunting him with. Bending his head a fraction over, he ate it from her fingers - perhaps not particularly cleanly, but he wasn't fazed. "It's really good," he said around a mouthful, wondering why she wasn't going for it.
