She scrubbed her hands against her knees under the desk, watching carefully as the professor matched them up and sent them on their way. Who was this Rusty boy, and what... Only, wait! Rusty was a girl. A GINGER girl. The very best kind of girl there was.
Dot slipped from behind her desk as they were dismissed to their activity, and she practically bounded across to where Rusty sat. "I'm Dot. Charlotte, really, but you can call me whatever. Do you have a preference as to where we go?" Because Dot honestly did NOT care.
Rusty was LOVING this lesson! It was such a fantastic way to make FRIENDS! And if there was one thing Rowan Fields prided herself on, it was her ability to make and keep lots of wonderful friends.
She watched eagerly as partners were assigned, and scanned the room for... Dot. She'd heard about this person... she was a prefect, right?
"Hi!" Rowan jumped to her feet as the girl came over to her.
"Well my name is Rowan really but nobody calls me that because I forget to answer sometimes so it's probably best if you stick to Rusty." Since they were talking about names and stuff...
As for where she wanted to go...
"Can we go outside somewhere?" That was where Rowan felt most comfortable, anyway. In the open air, with nature all around her. It was all she could do not to sigh all soppily at the thought.
