Perhaps it was the fires and the warm glow, but he liked the way Maggie's hair looked, more so right now than before, not that it had been bad before. He liked it, always liked it even.
Accepting the sweater Maggie handed back to him, he cocked his head to the side. Say what? SHE gave it to Flamsteed? "Oh," he voiced, more out of surprise than anything else. "I got it back, Nimma cleaned it for me, did a good job of it too." But so, did that mean he had HER to thank instead of Flamsteed? Because he was cool with that. "Surprised you didn't leave it down there though... I did." Zeke looked surprise.
Which turn made Maggie feel a little awkward. She didn't even know why she'd felt the need to tell him that. It wasn't like it mattered. She folded her hands behind her back and just looked back at him for a moment longer. Nimma. Right. Cool. Flamsteed HAD mentioned giving it to the house-elves to clean so that made sense. Right. Yes.
Instead of commenting on why she'd even dragged it out of the detention room, Maggie simply shrugged and turned around to inspect the kitchen counters. So interesting they were. Especially what was on them. Mhm. So interesting.
She sidestepped a little house-elf running around and eventually leaned her back against the counter. "So what do you want?" Like, food wise. |
