Kaycee flashed a half grin. Yes. Excited. Good. It was cute.

She took a few bites of food and listened to him talk. "Wait. What? You did? I didn't realize you guys were on that level." I mean, obviously Maggie wasn't if she said no, but still, TELL HER THINGS, ZEKE. Playing wing woman was hard when you didn't know the deats.

Also... tail biting was weird. They'd address that at a later time.

"Really? She suggested it?" Unexpected. Really unexpected. Aww, was Maggie growing up?! More importantly, was Maggie finally listening to her?

"Puddifoot's is the super cute romantic one, right?" she asked tilting her head to the side. "She'd either love it or hate it." Love it because 'cute'. Hate it because 'eww, too cute'. She wasn't sure which one at the moment.
