Little is known about Manon, aside from the fact that she is an orphan. Her earliest memories are that of being in the orphanage of St. Benedict's; the sisters have nothing to add to her history as well, able to only provide that Manon was left on the orphanage's doorstep with a small piece of paper which contained what they assumed her name: Manon Rhiali Espinoza. Her birth date is actually that of the sister who found her on said doorstep, Sister Cecilia - probably the only person Manon would admit she has a connection with - and the year she was left there.

Because of her non-interactive nature, very few foster parents had taken an interest in her but none were too eager to actually adopt her. When she turned eight, still unadopted and now showing magical capabilites, the sisters enrolled her to at least be a part-time resident at the Stemp House because they couldn't fully accommodate her financial expenses nor her undeniable magic. Having little to no choice on the matter, Manon relented.

She spends most of the summer months at the Stemp House. As an extension, the house has taken care that she might be able to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry when she turned eleven.

At the school, she was sorted into house Slytherin. Without prior knowledge of the school, Manon read up on the founder that was honored by her house and slowly became enamored with his inclination for the Dark Arts. This inspired the young girl's own desire to learn about the forbidden teachings.

Ren is the only child of pure-blood witch Camilla Montezor, née Yanson and muggle born wizard turned business mogul Florentino Montezor Sr. He runs the family's primary business which is that of textile exporting, supplying most of Asia, particularly the southeast. On the other hand, Ren's mother, Camilla, is a healer and a philanthropist, who spends her days coordinating various charity events for poor, destitute children. She even has a charity foundation to her name.

The couple married on the month of June, year 2070. Three years later, Camilla gave birth to a healthy baby boy whom they named Florentino, after his own father and giving him the nickname Ren-ren. Ren grew up with the undivided attention of his parents. His father, although very affectionate as well, made sure that his son was not mollycoddled by his mother. So despite being an only child, Ren did not grow up entirely selfish nor spoiled, as he also serves for some of his mother's charities.

At the age of 11, Ren entered Durmstrang Institute and was sorted under the house Soscrofa. From that young age he was able to point out his fiery passion for dueling and his lack thereof for boring lectures inside the four walls of a classroom. Most of his Durmstrang years were spent on dueling rings, legal or illegal. He wouldn't say he made a lot of friends while he was at the school but some that would come close were Nikolai Vitvinin and Roberta Baltazar. They didn't go for butterbeers or any of the sort but instead wasted time, blood, and tears on the dueling ring. Aside from that, Ren had his fair share of involvement with girls back at the institute. However, none of them came to being serious because as fierce as his passion for dueling grew, the stronger his feelings for his childhood friend, Moriah Adams, became. This was unfortunately one-sided and it wasn't long before Ren was nursing a broken heart.

After graduating from Durmstrang on the year 2092, Ren took a year off to travel by himself. His expedition brought him all over Europe. At his time in Mykonos, Greece, the young man came across a wizarding cult who specialized in alchemy. This intrigued him so much that a year after, he enrolled in the Wizarding University of Athens where he currently studies Alchemy and Alkahestry.
