Fortunately the problem has been dealt with and her emotional health has become a lot better. Amelia and her twin brother Andrew was born in Cape Town, South Africa on New Years Day. She was magical, and her brother born a Squib.

Her and her brother moved to Galloway, Scotland with her parents when she was 4 years old. They both attended a private school until she was 11, and got her acceptance letter to Hogwarts.

Tragedy struck while in her Fifth year at Hogwarts; her brother was killed by a drunk driver on March 20th.

Never having a boyfriend, she still had many guy friends; more guy friends than girl friends. But then she met Zayden when they were both 13, and became close friends. She began dating Zayden's brother, Zach when she was 14, and they had a year long relationship. Zach broke up with her for Zayden, and they started dating just before they both entered 5th Year. Despite having ups and downs in their relationship, they have managed to stay together through it all and are happy together.

Lux came as a surprise late baby to her parents who hadn't thought that they would have anymore children, though that didn't make her any less loved. In fact, she was seen as the baby of her family - and still is to this day. Born on June 1, 2070, she is nine years younger than her sister, and eleven years younger than her brother. Despite the rather large age gap between her and her siblings, she has always been close to them. There have been times where they are overprotective of their littler sister but in general they have always had a healthy relationship.

Born in Toronto, her family moved to England when Lux was a young age. Even though she sometimes misses Canada, Lux considers London to be her home. The cold never was her thing anyway so it didn't take long for the little girl to adapt to the change in residence. The only problem that she encountered was the fact that her neighbours used to bully her for being 'weird'. Of course her weirdness was nothing more than accidental magic. It wasn't until she was allowed to attend Hogwarts during Second Year that her magical abilities really started to blossom.

Home school (2081 - 2082)
FIRST YEAR:
As the youngest Carrington child, Lux has always been treated as the baby. Because of this, her parents wanted her to receive her magical education through home schooling (despite the fact that both Lennon and Willa had attended Hogwarts). This has caused Lux to have been rather sheltered; most of her socializing was done with her family, though she also became friends with her next-door neighbour, Hazel Carmichael. As her mom did not want Lux performing magic in the house, this limited her experience with some subjects such as Charms and Transfiguration. As someone who is very active and more suited for practical work, this displeased Lux so she begged her parents to let her transfer over to Hogwarts until they finally agreed.

Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry (2082 - 2087)
SECOND YEAR:
Newly transferred over to Hogwarts for her Second Year, Lux was excited about that fact that she could meet new people and improve on her learning experience. It did not take long for her to make friends; by the time she had reached Hogwarts for the first time, she had already made a bunch from socializing on the train.

Shy in class at first, it took a little bit for Lux to get comfortable with the class setting. Charms and Transfiguration proved the hardest for her because of the practical nature of the subjects. A fast learner, it did not take her long to learn new spells and gain knowledge though Astronomy and Ancient Runes still proved to be rather difficult for her.

A strange ageing epidemic occurred at Hogwarts that year, and Lux was one of the few people who was immune. One of the top point earners in Hufflepuff, she also got two awards at the end of the term: Muggle Superhero, and Aspiring Astronomer.

THIRD YEAR:
Lux started off her second term at Hogwarts happily, spending time with her friends and boyfriend. Two of her best friends were now with her in school (Cinnamon Bayless and Emmylou Duchannes), which made her very happy.

Everything was perfect until the fall approached and things seemed colder than usual. The lake froze over and snow fell during the autumn. Animals began fleeing the Forbidden Forest; Lux had an incident with a mother and baby Unicorn in Hogsmeade and talked to a Centaur in the pathways who gave a warning that Hogwarts was now inhospitable.

The weather got colder and colder, reaching Arctic temperatures, and during two simultaneous book club meetings sparks were seen coming from outside the castle. Mr. Kitridge along with Bay, Professor Fuller, and a few other students ventured outside to see what was going on and offer assistance. Heading into the Forbidden Forest, Mr. Kitridge and Bay were attacked by monsters (who turned out to be Chorts). Not knowing what had happened to her boyfriend when he went missing, Lux was very worried and searched everywhere until she finally found him in the Hospital Ward where he was out cold.

Healer Tillstorm allowed her to visit him every day, and it took two weeks for him to wake up though he was still suffering a lot of pain. Lux continued to visit him every day up until he was released, and attended the research meeting held by Professor Flamsteed and Professor Botros. It was at the meeting that the possibilities of Chorts were discovered, which meant that the Ministry had to get involved. At the end of term there was a minor thaw which allowed students to leave the castle, and Lux happily headed home to enjoy the heat.

FOURTH YEAR:
After enjoying a nice summer holiday, it was time for Lux to head back to Hogwarts for her Fourth Year. Almost immediately she got a pleasant surprise when she found out on the train that her boyfriend had been made the Gryffindor Prefect. She was so proud of him and it made her even more excited for the term since she knew he would do an amazing job.

For a short time everything at Hogwarts seemed to be going normally but then one day the Head Girl started acting strange, claiming to be Malificent and acting as if she was from a fairy tale. Soon others around the castle began acting strange as well; fairy tale characters coming to life staff and student alike. Lessons turned into insanity as Professor Flamsteed became Captain Hook, Professor Botros King Triton, and Professor Cassie the Evil Queen. A random Troll appeared in Potions class before vanishing again.

At different times an old book would pop up, flipping its pages and casting an enticing glow and it didn't take long for Lux to piece together that this was responsible for all the strange occurrences at school. At the fireworks show held at the term's Prefect Event, the book made an appearance first turning Professor Culloden into Beast and then the Groundskeeper into The Giant. Lux picked up the book in hopes of destroying it but got sucked in. Under the book's spell she believed herself to be Ariel from The Little Mermaid, snapping out of it during an Arithmancy lesson and having a mini breakdown when she realized that a chunk of time was missing from her memory. It took friends informing her of her behaviour for her to realize what had happened.

It was shortly after that the staff and students began a hunt for the book during a book club. Splitting up into groups, the school was searched with no success and everyone regrouped in the library. Different ideas to trap the book were discussed, with it finally being decided to use a Capturing Ward. At this time the smell of buns came from within the room, and some chose to investigate while others (Lux among them) stayed with Professor Botros to help create the Ward. With the book successfully trapped it was unable to vanish and reappear elsewhere but it still managed to send out flying carpets and other nuisances. These attacked those who were assembled until the Head Girl talked to it and somehow said what the book wanted to hear which was 'happily ever after'. Repeating after her, everyone said the words until everything the book had sent towards them disappeared and it was able to be bound shut. All that the book wanted was to give people their happily ever after.

FIFTH YEAR:
With Bay gone, Hogwarts just wasn't the same for Lux though she did have her amazing friends to help her through the term and she was very thankful for them. Missing her boyfriend a lot and already stressing about the upcoming OWLS, Lux looked forward to any distraction that she could be given. Studying and joining the newly formed Cartography club seemed like a good idea on top of seeing her friends, so she jumped right to it.

Mapping Hogwarts floor by floor seemed like an awesome idea - especially when there was a professional cartographer at the school to help them do it. Problems arose, however, when her group got into some trouble at the Weasley Swamp: seemed that the swamp had decided to swell up to its original size which meant that the only way across was through the use of boats. On op of that secret passages were discovered; one led to the house elf quarters and another lead to the Hufflepuff common room.

The biggest event was finding a way into the Chamber of Secrets. It was both exciting and fascinating exploring the chamber, but they couldn't stay for long. A set of stairs was fount heading upwards, and through exploring it they made their way up to the lake. Much less exciting was taking her OWLs, but she managed to get very good scores and was very proud of herself for what she had achieved.

SIXTH YEAR:
A break from studying meant that Lux could enjoy herself more, but she was still trying her best to keep herself distracted and in a way missed studying because it was a great way to keep her mind occupied. Soon enough she had other things to distract her.

Hogwarts slowly became very dusty even though the house elves regularly cleaned, people were getting bitten, and worst of all pets were disappearing. Worst incident was when the hippogriffs got spooked while Lux's group was mapping part of the grounds for the Cartography Club. Henry ran off towards the Forbidden Forest, taking off with the groundskeeper on his back. While the professors and of age students went off to investigate, Lux stayed behind with Gabriel Banner. It was then that she spotted a dead bird in the snow. She wanted to tell the professors, but didn't know how to when they were in the forest and the Headmistress had joined them there.

The occurrence was eventually driven from her mind, and on one fateful day Lux had decided to use Moaning Myrtles washroom. It was there that she had spotted the Chamber of Secrets open. Wanting to get in touch with her Gryffindor side, Lux immediately took the plunge while not knowing that Cinnamon had seen her and followed behind to look out for her. Lux was sure that she heard her friend Damien somewhere, but he didn't reply to her calls - instead she heard what sounded like something walking on bones. Freaked out, she tried to make it to the stairs with Cinnamon, but they were grabbed by creatures that looked like giant spiders. In the struggle to blast them and get free she ended up dropping her wand which made her completely defenseless.

The Acromantulas took the girls to their web in the forest where they were kept for days while being fed in order to fatten up. Lux barely ate so she became very weak, but she was not going to let the spiders eat her and Cinnamon. Eventually the Headmistress and a few other students joined them and were tossed onto the web, but it was not long after that the rescue party arrived and saved them. Taken back to the great hall, Lux was tended to but nothing helped her emotionally. Now she was more determined than ever to go home to Bay and her family. She knew that once she left Hogwarts at the end of term she was never coming back.

Home school (2087 - 2088)
SEVENTH YEAR:
Going back to homeschooling was something that Lux could never picture herself doing when she was younger, but after everything that had happened she was thrilled for the chance. She had been over school since Bay left and the acromantulas had made things worse, so it was amazing that she could now see her family and her boyfriend a lot more while staying safe in the process. The only drawback to it has been missing her friends that are still at Hogwarts, but she has seen them every time she got the chance to. Preparing for NEWTs is very stressful, but she takes her studying very seriously and as a result feels more confident that she will do well on them than she did when it came to her OWLs.

They never got the chance to meet their grandparents, however, because they died in a car crash the summer before their mother started her Sixth Year. This information was shared with them as soon as they were old enough to understand, and while Esme wishes that she had the chance to meet them, she is happy to hear stories about them and see pictures of them.

Esme and Juno are part German and English on their paternal side. Their father’s mother, Mya Darcy, is from England as well as her parents, William and Elizabeth Bennett. Their grandmother has a twin sister named Mona, who has a daughter named Suzanne. Both are very close to Esme and Juno. Their grandmother’s parents, passed away when their father was 19 in a car accident.

Their father’s father, Ryder Darcy, was part German and part English. He was tragically murdered by Death Eaters when their father was 2 years old. Their grandfather’s parents were Ronan and Talia Darcy. Ronan was from England and Talia was from Germany. They were tragically murdered 6 months after Ryder, by their daughter, and his sister, Desdemona Darcy. She was part of the left over Death Eaters that still plagued people after all this time. She also kidnapped Esme and Juno’s father right after she killed her parents. She had him for 6 months before being caught and sent to Azkaban. She only fulfilled 5 years of her sentence before taking her own life. Esme and Juno and their older brother have not been told about this because their father still has a hard time accepting it as well as the things he did as teenager.

Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry (2086 - 2093)
FIRST YEAR:
Esme's first term at Hogwarts was rather eventful. The first thing she noticed was the disgusting dust and cobwebs that wouldn't go away. Then she noticed that people kept getting bitten by what looked like spiders. After that, pets began to disappear. Confused and rather frightened, the First Year decided to keep to herself and watched over her elf owl with as much diligence as someone who is afraid of birds can. She did not want anything happening to her pet.

Keeping to herself, she only heard about things happening. The Groundskeeper had taken off into the Forbidden Forest on the back of one of the Hippogriffs. Then two students disappeared. No one knew what happened to them until over a week later when spiders came in to the greenhouses and took the Headmistress along with a few other students.

Terrified, Esme ran back to the castle where she hid until she was forced to help fight off the Acromantulas. They were eventually driven away and the captured people were returned to Hogwarts and received medical care.

SECOND YEAR:
Not sure if she wanted to go back to Hogwarts or not, Esme was at a loss. In the end she decided that she wanted to stay with her sister.

Fortunately for them, this term was a lot less eventful than the last had been. There were loads of events happening at Hogwarts, and she took part in some of them though she wasn't really concerned with winning prizes and being known as a champion. She found it more fun to play the games, and her favourite part was when she got to build a snowman with her sister.

Maybe Hogwarts wasn't so bad after all.

THIRD YEAR:
Almost immediately after boarding the train things took a nasty turn for Esme: somehow a Hag had managed to get on board, threatening that bad things were to come. This dampened the Hufflepuff's mood not only because Hags supposedly ate children but because the intruder was to be the new Divination Professor. Angry with this revelation, she decided to boycott the lessons and never attend.

Things went about as normal as could be expected at Hogwarts until one afternoon while walking down the corridor she heard what sounded to be giggling and tiny footsteps. Confused, she found nothing other than Professor Draper and the Hag herself. A confrontation followed and Esme's sister was threatened and Professor Draper was given love potion. Confused and angry Esme stalked off, determined to keep her sister safe and away from Hogsmeade. Weirder still, she found a doll at the Hufflepuff table and after bringing it to Professor Myers' office it vanished into thin air.

Through the grapevine she had heard about the unforgettable Divination lesson where Brady had come close to being eaten and the Hag's escape into the Forbidden Forest. This did not calm her, however, as weird things were still happening at Hogwarts. Craziest to her was when someone had managed to attach the Hufflepuff study desks to the ceiling. Professor Myers didn't think that the Hag was involved, but she was not convinced.

In the end it had turned out that a female poltergeist was behind all the mischief in an attempt to win the affections of Peeves. At any rate she just happy that the Hag was long gone.

FOURTH YEAR:
Feeling much better now that the Hag had disappeared from Hogwarts, Esme found that things were looking up for her again as far as school was concerned. Spending all her free time with friends, the months seemed to fly by rather quickly and it wasn't until December when things started getting weird again. While walking by the Forbidden Forest one afternoon, Esme heard the most compelling music. It beckoned to her and she could not resist the call. It was all consuming, and the most amazing thing that she had ever heard. She didn't even notice the orb of light; all that mattered to her from that moment on was finding the ancient spell book. She searched the castle high and low and STILL couldn't find it.

Suddenly she snapped out of the trance when Oliver blew bubbles in her face during Charms, and the REALLY scary part was that Esme had no idea that she had been a zombie; the last while was a huge blank for her. Not knowing how to process what had happened, she resorted to her usual coping mechanism: avoidance. That worked fairly well for her until the letter from her mother came, telling her and Juno that their father had been badly injured. Worried and scared, the sisters turned to each other for strength and support. They would learn everything that had happened during the summer and finally understand why their dad was so secretive about certain things.

From that moment on, Esme was more determined than ever to focus on school work and friends to get through the term even faster. It worked well until the very end of term when she walked to the courtyard and spotted the Hag. She tried to make off with her friend, Hady but a crowd drew (including a couple staff members). Despite spells being thrown her way, the Hag ran off towards the forbidden Forest with Brady and Kitty in order to cook them in a cauldron. Professor Draper and Professor Myers were summoned to help and everyone sent spells towards the Hag. With Esme's stinging hex, the old bat's face swelled and she ran off deep into the woods.

Brady and Kitty had been saved but the Hag was still out there.

FIFTH YEAR:
One thing stood out in Esme's mind as Fifth Year approached: OWLs. As someone who was not inclined to study, this was a horrific prospect. True to herself, however, she was determined to buckle down and get good marks even if what she REALLY wanted to do was hang out with her friends and play piano in the music room. At least she still managed to do that either with Azura or by herself whenever she had the chance to. And there were a lot of fun times with best friends Oliver and Rachel as well. Sadly she didn't see her sister as much as usual due to not only exams, but also Juno becoming Prefect; Esme was so very happy for her.

In an unexpected turn, Peeves and the poltergirl who had been living inside that creepy porcelain doll were to get married. Esme was feeling rather conflicted about this, because while she thought a wedding at Hogwarts was romantic, Miffy was rather grating and there was still those memories of her possessing a doll. Those weren't going away any time soon, though of course she attended the wedding and reception, getting cake thrown at her in the process.

Yet another interesting term at Hogwarts.

SIXTH YEAR:
Receiving her OWL grades during the summer, Esme was pleasantly surprised to see that her marks had been very good on the most part. This filled her with excitement, and made her happy that she had stuck with Hogwarts despite all the times she had wished she was done with the school. Sadly her feelings would change as term went underway.

Term stated off normally, as usual, and as far as she was concerned the hardest part of the year would be getting over her best friend - something that Juno was helping her with though no one else knew about the crush. It was during this time that she bumped into Oliver McDean while doing her Christmas shopping. They had been friends at Hogwarts but had lost contact after his graduation. It was so good to see him again and she was excited at the prospect of keeping in touch. Now she had a crush on another of her friends. There wasn't much time for her to dwell on that, however. A group of kids had ended up in a portal that led them into another dimension. Worse than that there was talk about a creature. Fortunately everyone involved managed to make their way out.

The only bright spot was Hogsmeade weekend. It was her birthday and she got to see Oliver again. Not only that, but she could spend time with her sister and Leon, who she didn't know very well yet. Oliver got her a unicorn bracelet for a present, and she kissed him, but he didn't respond when she told him about her crush. Esme thought that he didn't return her feelings, though she was happy when they made plans to see each other during the Easter holidays.

It was a couple months later while visiting him at Easter that they got together.

While that made Esme very happy, there was still all the horrors at Hogwarts to deal with. Student upon student was being sucked into the other dimension out of nowhere. On one occasion it had been two girls on the wooden bridge, and on another three boys were sucked in from separate places. Anyone could be the next victim. It was because of this that the school was placed on lock down. While she was happy that measures were being undertaken to keep everyone safe, she was terrified of something happening to her sister while on patrol. Every day she wrote to Oliver telling him about what was going on.

While the portal was being closed Esme was in her common room, so she had to hear about everything from other people. In a way she was a bit sad to see Miffy and Storm, but mostly she was just glad that the monster wasn't going to ever come back.

FIRST YEAR - SIXTH YEAR:
Paulina attended Beauxbatons Academy of Magic from the age of 11 to the age of 16. Living in Japan, she would be far from home during each term, though it was something that she got used to. Holidays were always something that she looked forward to because it meant that she could go home and spend time in Osaka with her loved ones.

School was enjoyable for Paulina, and she felt that Beauxbatons was a beautiful place to be. She had heard a little about Hogwarts, but felt that there was no way it could ever compare to Beauxbatons. It really was the best place on earth in her opinion; even when times started to get rough for her later on in her educational career, she still loved her school.

Some other students started bullying her during Fifth Year. On top of the fact that she could be so shy, Paulina didn't care about the way she dressed, and that was plain weird in the view of a lot of the other girls at Beauxbatons. Paulina loved escaping those troubles through gardening and studying Herbology. She had discovered that nurturing plants was something that she was naturally good at. Taking care of nature made her feel at peace and as if she was helping to make the world a more beautiful place.

When she got tired of the bullying, Paulina wanted out of Beauxbatons despite her love of the castle. Hogwarts seemed like the best choice for her as she did not want to transfer over to Durmstrang.

SEVENTH YEAR:
Incredibly shy, Paulina was not looking forward to attending a new school and even tried to get out of it at least once. She felt that maybe she had made a mistake in leaving after all, but she ended up sticking through with her plan and she is now happy though she misses her best friend a lot (they keep in contact through letters). Since attending Hogwarts she has made some good friends, most notably Benjamin Atreyu, Aditya Rehman, and Hadleigh Lynch.

Her best classes have been Herbology and Transfiguration - the latter coming as rather a surprise to her. It is through the help of her favourite Professors (Myers and York) that she has improved her knowledge in these subjects. They have helped her out a lot and she is very grateful for them and will miss them a lot when she leaves. Professor York has also helped Paulina in practicing in order to become an animagi. She has a lot of work to do, but she is confident that she will get there if she keeps trying. Another Professor who has really helped her is Dakest. Not only is he a very good teacher, but through the Duelling Club she has learned skills to help improve her dueling capabilities. Though the matches stress her out a fair bit she has tried her best to have fun and has been improving with each opponent she has gone up against.
