Topher is the only son and eldest child of Nikolaos Fakiris and Jade Flamsteed. His younger sister, Pasha, came around two years after his birth. While his family was settled in Wales, his father's job often kept him away from home. Even with his father often being gone, Topher still looked up to him and could almost always be found in his father's shadow when he was home. The first heartbreak in his life happened in 2085 when his father's constant absence led to his parents divorce. While his father continued to financially support his children, he was hardly around due to his over-commitment to his job. This put Toph in the self imposed position of 'man of the house'. He was extra diligent in looking after his sister and grew closer to his mother in his time before heading off to Durmstrang.

At Durmstrang Topher's hard work and perseverance had him excelling in his classes and extracurriculars. He was small for his size and often the target of bullying his first few years at durmstrang. It's difficult to decipher if this was his reason for joining the dueling club and combat team at such an early age. It was hard work and hours of practice that had him excelling in both, as well as his classes. As he grew in both size and popularity, it was only natural that he gained the title of Ucilena Prefect his fifth year. However, due to his commitments to dueling and his grades, Toph only held the title of prefect for two years before stepping down. In his final years at Durmstrang he gained the title of dueling champion.

Receiving scholarships for both academia and dueling, Topher moved to Australia for university. There is where he found his love for surfing and beach music. This was also where he met his friend Eamon Macnair. With them both having a love for the ocean, it gave them ample of time to spend together. Topher continued to duel, gaining more awards and his skill set continued to excel. Having picked up the guitar a few years before, Topher found a real love for playing beach side or in bars while living in Australia. Recent events with his sister caused Topher to move back to London where he currently lives with Tilly Alice.
