Born to Daphne and Travis LaGlacier on a cool summer day, July 31, 2054. Katrina was the first child for Travis, although the second to Daphne who had a daughter eight years prior. When Kat was just a few years old, she was sitting and playing with Millie before she would board the Hogwarts Express and came across a photo of Millie's father. A man who was not Travis. Confused about her relationship with her "sister", Millie took Katrina on her lap and recounted the story told by their mother of Millie's father, Ian Walsh, a famous broom maker whom left this world too soon in a transportation accident.

Katrina and Millie vowed in that moment to be there for each other. But fate had a different plan. When Millie graduated from Hogwarts, it was Katrina's turn to begin and unlike her sister, Katrina was much more outgoing and perseverant, which sorted the young brunette witch into Gryffindor. The first in a family that had previously been Slytherins and Ravenclaws. Her time at Hogwarts was memorable, but when she graduated, she was more than ready to pursue her dreams of become a renowned curse-breaker. But one didn't get anyplace without money, so while she was a student at the Cairo campus during the year, Katrina scooped ice cream back in London during her summers. And yet she missed the Egyptian hospitality during the summers, which was why when she graduated in 2074, Katrina moved full-time to Egypt uncovering secrets and growing in her career. Shortly after her move, she fell in love with an Egyptian Wizard, Naseem Sabra. It was a whirlwind romance, but one that sadly did not bear any children. Naseem it turned out worked in a very top secret area of Law Enforcement for the Egyptian Ministry, which while Katrina loved him, it also meant she had to keep distance from her family. Including her sister, of whom she made a promise to so very long ago. Living the unplottable life was definitely adventure-seeking and enthralling for the former Gryffindor, but it also meant that any forms of communication were one-side. She couldn't disclose her exact whereabouts, which meant communication about her sister's pregnancy in 2081-2082, as well as her incident which left her non-cognizant in 2090 went unknown by Katrina.

It wasn't until Naseem was tragically killed in a job related activity, when Katrina was going through his belongings and found the letters from both Millie announcing the birth of her baby girl, naming her the legal guardian, but also several letters made from St Mungos in effort to contact her, that Katrina returned to the Northern Hemisphere. Reading the prophet in June 2096 of the inferi attacks at Hogwarts and knowing her own experience as a cursebreaker, Katrina sought out the position of Runes professor. Figuring if anyone was qualified for the role, it was her.

Next on the agenda: to figure out how to meet up with her niece and apologize for her apparent abandonment. Turns out wasn't so difficult, despite the initial resentment and by Christmas 2096, Maeve officially moved in with her aunt whom assumed legal custodial care for her niece. By June, she realized two things: she had achieved proper custody of her niece and two, she really didn't care for teaching. It was the latter thing that led to her resigning after only a year.

Brief Background/History:
Lorraine comes from an all-magical family, with one younger sister (Myra), born in 2036, who is married to a wizard (Frank Wakerman) and lives with him and her 9 children in Miras, Greece. Her father was murdered when she was only four, and her mother died from a terrible illness when she was only nine. She (and her sister) then moved in with her mother's sister, who was married with two children, one boy and one girl. Since her mother's death though, Lorraine vowed that she would do everything to make her parents proud. Quite unlike her mother, she was sorted into Slytherin, and tried her hardest to redeem herself by getting the top marks. In addition to being an outstanding student, Lorraine was also star Seeker on the Quidditch Team. There was one thing though that Lorraine never bothered with, partially because she was working so hard to be the best she could be and in part because she did not understand. But Lorraine Jade never understood relationships.

Fast forward to the summer of 2069, while on the job of International Transportation Ambassador, Lorraine met a handsome mediwizard by the name of Carlos Ellsbury. It didn't take long before the two were heads-over-heels in love. Two years later, they were married. The only downside was that Lorraine was well into her forties, thus making conceiving near impossible. Lorraine wasn't too fussed, if only because she was absolved in her work but still, it felt like she and Carlos were missing something in their marriage. Five years later, they move back to Europe and that's when as a mediwizard, it was Carlos who discovered them first. A pair of adorable twins and the wizarding orphanage in the hospital, just under six months old. It seemed their parents were unable to care for them and they had no other family. Struck by how adorable they were and knowing how much Lorraine wanted a child, Carlos applied to adopt the two of them. Again, his standing as a mediwizard came in handy, as within two weeks, they became the proud parents of Azalea and Reed.

H I S T O R Y

Born and raised in a loving household in Northern Sweden, Margaret and Chris did not expect anything of their daughter's special abilities. At least not until Katherine received a letter from Hogwarts during her 11th year, Summer of 2053. It was a complete surprise to most, especially her mother, who had not been involved in the magical community since when her older brother (Paul Vivaldi) was accepted to Hogwarts many years prior.

At the young age of 11¾, Katherine went off to a 'special school' for kids with excessive energy, as her family told neighbors and friends. She was sorted into Gryffindor, where she befriended Iliana Morgan, who was just a few years older than she. Knowing her boundless amount of energy could lead her to trouble, Katherine put it to good use in trying out for the quidditch team. She made the team as chaser and continued to play throughout all seven years at Hogwarts.

Upon graduating Hogwarts, Katherine was sure of only three things: one, she liked managing and organizing things; two, she still had TOO MUCH energy; and three, she desired to get married but still hadn't found the right one.

With no real clue on her future, Katherine moved home to Sweden and obtained a position at the local fish market. This job lasted for only two months before she tired of the stench and quit, gaining work as a cashier at a grocery store (ICA or inköpscentralen AB or buy-in central corporation). Working her way up the chain, she moved to supervisor and then manager, in just over a year. In another year, at the ripe age of 20, she moved on to become the youngest general manager in the history of the company. Katherine worked as general manager for the next eleven years, which was both exhilarating and tiring. Though she had made a fairly successful living for herself, her older brother had to interfere and remind her of the seven years she spend on Magical Education, as well as what a waste it'd be if she didn't pursue a more magical career.

Despite her stubbornness, Katherine knew he was right, which was why she resigned from her position the very next day. Packing her bags, she relocated to London, where she spent the next two years researching different professions and ultimately unemployed. She knew finding a job that she would love would be challenging, but also worth it in the end.

Personality: Sophia Anne is a feisty, flirtatious, and extremely competitive young woman. Though she is quite the narcissist and generally stubborn, Sophia knows when to keep calm and dignified exterior as well. As the youngest child, she also knows how to get what she wants, when she wants it. She prefers to keep her own problems to herself and find the solutions on her own. History: Sophia is the youngest child and only daughter born to Helena and Paul Vivaldi. She was born to a long line of Slytherclaws, including her six older brothers, but she herself was a Hufflepuff. Her mother was a Healer, while her father worked in Accidents & Catastrophes as an Obliviator at the Ministry and was rarely around due to long work hours during most of her childhood years.

While maintaining dignity and propriety was always a passion of Sophia's, and the well respected path for a lady according to her mother, Sophia also had an inner rebellious side which desired to vent off some frustrations on the quidditch pitch as her brothers did. By not allowing her grades to suffer, Sophia discovered she could do both; she managed - without her parent's consent - to play Hufflepuff Beater from second to seventh years (and was pretty darned good at it too!)

During Hogwarts, Sophia was also good friends with Kaylee Grace; the pair often inseparable and seen as 'rivals' to Anastasia Bunbury and Georgia Mayes. She and Kaylee were pretty much the best of friends until something unforgivable happened in their fifth year, which Sophia didn't discover until two years later. Nonetheless, since that 'conflict of interests', the pair was split up until only just recently.

In addition to her feisty beater skills, Sophia proved exceptionally talented in the following subjects: Potions, Transfiguration, DADA, Charms, and Arithmancy. Directly after Hogwarts, per her mother's wishes she studied for two years on the Healer track before deciding it was not for her. She then pursued the route of working in Gringotts as a Cursebreaker for almost three years, before moving onto experimental potions research.

While potions research was fascinating, her eyes were set onto something larger: A position at the Ministry that with her strong background in a variety of subjects, combined with some connections, she was able to score the job as Department Head of Mysteries. Though the Department Head position was everything Sophia could have dreamed of (and more) - great pay/benefits, awesome colleagues, being in charge - after a year, there still seemed to be something missing. It is for that reason of which Sophia sought managerial position for a shop in Diagon Alley. Sure enough, she managed to secure herself a position as Shopkeeper of Madame Primpernelle's Beauty Potions; a shop that ANY fashionista could only DREAM about getting their hands on.

Sophia continued work as shopkeeper up until 2071 when she was driven out by a pest infestation. It might sound silly for the former beater and only girl in a family of older brothers, but Sophia didn't like the pests and thus abandoned her position as Primpernelle's Shopkeeper, not really caring what or who took it over. In the meantime, she sought work at her previous company with experimental potions and has been doing research work there ever since.

History: David is the eldest child of Paul and Joelle Lisimba, born in a small town in Austria. His parents moved to London, England when he was just two years old, and they have lived there ever since. His mother, of muggle descent, works from home designing muggle fashion and recently taken up creating some original Wizarding articles as well. Whereas, his father, works for the British Ministry as a Hit Wizard, which means he spent little time at home raising his two children.

From a very early age, David was around mostly women, which means that though he is quite the gentlemen, he often forgets how to be more than just a friend. He attended Hogwarts and achieved average marks, but nowhere near as talented [or attractive] as his kid sister, Stephanie, who seemed to have taken all the good genes. Stephanie was the model student, star Chaser, and basically everything anyone could want. Which is why it was quite the surprise when David was named prefect in his seventh year.

Upon graduating Hogwarts, David spent a few years simply traveling around Europe. He had little drive as to what he wanted to do, even after his sister was accepted and graduated Healer School after Hogwarts. His sister - always the perfect one. By the time she graduated Healer school, he was 24 and still unemployed and clueless; she encouraged David to work anyplace. To which he gained part-time employment as a Horticulturist at the Ministry due to his father. He lasted only one week before being fired for 'not caring enough about the plants'.

Reluctantly, he took a job as a dishwasher at the local pub, which he managed to hold down that job for the next five years. Up until last week, when he spotted a classified ad for a new shopkeeper for a store in Diagon Alley. Not bothering to note WHAT shop it was, but just desperate to get away from washing dishes, David applied. A week later, he was notified that he had been hired, which was then that he also noted the shop was for BEAUTY Potions. Too late to back out - particularly as it was something MORE than dishwashing, David began setting up his new store.

Who knows, perhaps he may have arbitrarily just found his calling . . . on accident. Or at least for a year when he grew steadily bored of the retail work and sold the ownership of the shop to some dude named Milton. Remaining jobless for another two years, David lived off his sister in the meanwhile. That was up until a month ago when she informed him that she was moving in with her steady boyfriend of one year. Not knowing what else to do - except that he couldn't afford a place of his own - he moved into the Leaky temporarily as he realized he needed to work. That was when he took up a part-time job as dishwasher at the Leaky as agreement to stay there for free. At least until he could find something better.

PERSONALITY
Gideon is both the joker and the genius. He knows the precise moment to keep his mouth shut, but also when to laugh. He loves teasing (particularly his big sister), while at the same time has a sense of mysteriousness to him.
Loud and ambitious, Gideon always seems to know the right things to say at the right time. He likes to be heard AND seen, which being the baby in the family helps contribute to his desire to be the center-of-attention. Despite himself, he's very protective of his family and there's nothing more important to him NOW than that.

History:
Gideon MacNeil was born to Matthew and Cali MacNeil in Glasgow, Scotland on March 26th. He is considered to be both the troublemaker and the philanthropist between the MacNeil siblings. His parents always had such high expectations for him, considering he played as beater for five years on the Slytherin house team, not to mention achieving the rank of Head Boy in his seventh year.

However, despite those expectations, upon graduating Hogwarts in 2040, Gideon disappeared from his whole family and friends entirely for the next 25 years. Rumor had it that he went undercover for the Ministry or worse, was killed. Some said he ran off with Bridgette, a girl he had been seeing on and off during their last two years of school. But when Bridgette reappeared after a year, that rumor was shot down. He didn't even know of his nieces; however, he was vaguely aware of when his sister was pregnant with Millie right before his two and a half decade-long disappearance. Daphne needed her kid brother more than anything, particular when Ian was murdered. She prayed for his safe return soon because she feared for her daughters growing up without a fatherly image. This was testimony to how they truly did like each other, despite their constant bickering and teasing.

Twenty-five years later and still without much change in his fun-loving, joking demeanor, Gideon returned to London in hopes of reconciling where all else was lost. In hopes of perhaps meeting and guiding his two grown nieces, presuming they wanted him in their life still. Using his skills in which he had gained over the past twenty-five years, plus his joyful, carefree personality, Gideon applied to Gringotts as a cursebreaker without any knowledge that one of his nieces actually worked there. He got the job at the bank, but not specific to curse-breaking; rather he could be working anywhere within the well-known bank. It didn't matter because he was closer to the family he'd never really known.

Born to Daphne and Ian Walsh, as the clock struck midnight on September 1st, Millicent Jean Walsh was born. When she was just five years old though, Ian was killed in a tragic broom accident leaving Daphne to raise Millie on her own. It was only a couple years later though when Daphne DID meet someone else - a strapping Spanish Mediwizard by the name of Travis LaGlacier. It didn't take long until they were heads over heels for each other and even less time for Millie to become a big sister.

A few laters it came time for Millie's Hogwarts letter to arrive as happened to every wizarding child. With her inquisitive mind and thirst for knowledge, it came as no surprise that Millicent was sorted into Ravenclaw. Millie remained true to herself during her time at Hogwarts, as she found comfort in the books that she read. She made only one good friend, whom was in her year/house, Roxy who became a somewhat close confident to her.

Upon graduating Hogwarts, Millie had no idea of anything about her future. Though she did know three things: one, she liked managing and organizing things; two, she was curious minded; and three, she planned on getting married, but still had not found the right guy.

So as she hadn't a clue about her future, Millie decided to attend the local Wizarding University for a couple years in London. Studying cooking with potions among a variety of other subjects, as she tried to find her niche. Which is why - following in her younger sister's footsteps who graduated Hogwarts and promptly went for a part-time summer job - Millie found a job as an assistant in a shop in Diagon Alley. Though unlike her sister who worked at Florean's, Millie was hired at Weasley's Wizard Wheezes.

History: Alex is the second oldest in the family, where his mother is a witch and father is a muggle. He is the quiet and shy guy, but very intelligent and knows how to speak his mind when needed. Perhaps it this last part that differentiated Alex from his siblings as he is the lone Gryffindor in a family of Hufflepuffs. In his second year, he became the quidditch seeker for his house team, which followed him through until one year after Hogwarts, when he ended his quidditch career to pursue research.

Appearance: Tall, Andrew stands at 6'1" and is quite broad shouldered and muscular. He has light brown hair and eyes that seem to grow alight.

Quidditch Experience: Andrew began his illustrious Quidditch career as a young Hufflepuff first year in September 2054. He was initially placed as Chaser, but over the year, he gradually moved toward his preferential position: Beater, to which he played all the way through his Hogwarts Years and even after.

History: The oldest of four children, Andrew seemed to set the precedence for his younger siblings to be quidditch stars. He grew up at the Rose Family Cottage in Northern England and practically helped his mother raise each of his younger siblings in his own way. That was when he wasn't ganging up on his sister with Alex. But it was all in good fun that he did so.

In his sixth year at Hogwarts, his younger brother Alex was partnered up with Emily Descotch in Magical Creatures. Emily was a Gryffindor, just like Alex and they were both fourth years. It was when he noticed his brother working with Emily that he first noticed her beauty. But it wouldn't be until a year later when he finally had the courage to speak with her himself.

It took his brother having a talk with him over a couple of Butterbeers in Hogsmeade that Andrew finally realized that this was it. If he didn't talk to her now, then he'd regret it for the rest of his life. The following day, as if fate was listening, he literally bumped into Emily on the third floor corridor while he was walking down to the grounds for Quidditch practice, she walking to Charms class. Her books went flying and that was when he caught her eye and somehow they ended up agreeing to a date at the next Hogsmeade weekend. Things only began to fly from thereafter, their relationship growing stronger over the coming months as they knew the inevitable awaited in June; when Andrew would graduate.

Thought it terrified them, they knew somehow they would find a way to make it work. And they did.

They wrote to each other frequently during Emily's last two years at Hogwarts and saw each other in the summer time. And when Emily graduated in 2063, she received the best graduation present ever; an engagement ring. In July 2064, the two were wed in Northern England. And just over nine months later, they received another miracle; their son, Oliver.

But unfortunately, time was a gift. Just before Oliver's tenth birthday, Emily died in an accident while spectating one of Andrew's games. It was this untimely death of Emily's that led Andrew to resign from his position of beater with the Kenmare Kestrals after just under fourteen years of playing with them. Heartbroken and distraught, Andrew flew home to Northern England to grieve while his mother assisted with Oliver.

Though it was hard, the then thirty-two old knew he had to move on and do something. But he was fairly sure that his days of playing quidditch professionally were over as it was too heartbreaking to continue. Three months later, he left for Scotland with his son, starting fresh. He knew that his son would be starting Hogwarts in a year and was terrified; Emily would have known how to prepare him, but he? He was a quidditch player. He didn't know this stuff. Emily was good at this though.

Despite the fact that he was living on his own in a small flat in Scotland, Andrew spent the next year unemployed, learning from his son and growing and grieving and basically, figuring out his next move. At Ollie's eleventh birthday was when he'd come to a decision about his life. He knew that he couldn't live off his savings forever, especially now that Ollie was starting Hogwarts.

Though he didn't start looking for employment until September, once his son was off at Hogwarts. Using the courage and strength that he seemed to have gained from his son, he applied to the British Ministry of Magic, despite his background not consisting of anything governmental related. But it was different and though he knew he'd always think of Emily, at least he wouldn't be reminded her with every job task. Hopefully.
