The Slytherin got up, collected up his flash cards and headed on over towards Daxton McSilentson over there. "Howdy, partner," he said, pretending to tip his imaginary hat at the boy, "Where should we go to finish this?"

Oh. He had managed to get dragged into this activity before the chance to slip away had presented itself. Daxton mentally kicked himself, and looked in the direction of whoever Botros had been addressing to see Phillip Romalotti sitting there. Well... could be worse, he supposed. Could be much better, too. In fact, best case scenario? Not having to join in, but here he was. Looking across the classroom, Daxton could see in his periphery that Rea (Reagan Penrose was her full name, he had made sure to find it out one way or another since their initial interaction) kept looking over at him. He was not entirely sure why, given that they had not been paired up or anything, and it made him immediately suspicious, so as soon as he had noted it, Daxton quickly turned his head away again.

Aware that the other boy was heading in his direction, Daxton took a moment to pack his things back into his bag. All of his things. He had absolutely zero intentions of leaving anything where someone else could just pick it up and take it for themselves. It was, of course, something he himself would do, and he expected nothing less from anyone else.

Daxton looked up at Phillip Romalotti just in time to see the strange gesture the Slytherin boy made, one that caused Daxton to pause for just a moment before he realised he did not care enough to try and understand what it meant. He finished re-loading his school bag with all his stuff, before standing up and leading the way out of the classroom, which was his own version of greeting and answering. He would find a place.
