"Professor Flamsteed asked you to do this?" he asked, wondering why the man hadn't simply thought to burn it, or leave it in the dungeons to serve as a grim reminder to him, or a warning to those who would surely follow... that livelihoods have been lost down there. He didn't really want the sweater back, but, Nimma was difficult to refuse.
"Thank you," he repeated as he accepted the now very clean looking and soft item. He sniffed it, to check if he could detect any trace of swamp water. He couldn't. "You weren't kidding," he commented, brows raised with mild surprise. "It smells better than brand new." He supposed he couldn't get rid of it now. The sweater would live to see another day.
Wringing her hands and watching Mr. Zeke Browne with big, eager eyes, Nimma nodded cheerfully at his question. "
Yep yep, that's the one!" The Star Master! "
Nimma wents to the dungeons when she's called and it was in the dirty floor water so the Master told us to make it like brand new, so Nimma did!" Nimma could TELL that the young human was happy with it and bounced excitedly on her heels when the student SNIFFED it, too!
See, Master? This elf did a good jobs!!
"
Happy to help, sir!" she squeaked out brightly. "
Can Nimma do anything else for you? She can gets food, or a warm beverage? Any more laundry to be done?" Nimma would do it all!
