Sabbath was impressed to have learned there was a treehouse somewhere on the grounds. He’d set out determined to find it. One of the biggest struggles he was having after coming to Hogwarts was adjusting to being inside quite a lot more than he was accustomed. Sure, it was still only Autumn here but it was considerably cooler than his home country, Spain, so he’d been inside more and the result had been a feeling of confinement. Couple that with missing the company of all of his family, the sense of restriction was almost palpable.
He wanted to get outside and knew there was to be a blood moon tonight, so he was keen to find a good vantage point. He collected a few books to read to fill his time. Merlin knows, he’d bombed his first potions lesson so badly, he knew he ought read up a bit. He headed out across the grounds.
Impressed when the treehouse ladder descended towards him, he climbed through the floor hole and was equally amazed by the tree house interior. He entered, quickly spotting a cosy nook with large cushions that had a small window with a vista of the grounds and a ledge large enough to place snacks. Perfection. There were quite a few people in the treehouse already, and he wondered half-heartedly if there was anyone here he knew. Snuggling into the cushions with his books, he stared wistfully out of the window.
