I'm pretty sure that Slytherins are supposed to be the opposite of nice."
Check the book, annnnnd Theophilus. Dot put her finger on the page and glanced back into the viewfinder. Yup. Theoblablablah. "You can use mine, and we'll find craters together. Which, by the way, is what we're looking for. Because the professor is obsessed with them, which is weird. The moon is literally the closest bit of space you can look at, so why are we staying so close to home? It's like going on vacation to your closet." Dot was still mad at Flamface, ok?
"That one there is Theo... Theophilus. It looks like a donut!" His face lit up the moment she agreed to let him use her telescope too. Hogwarts was something else. It tried preaching that you couldn't get through anything without magic--'cept in Muggle Studies class--but here he was proving them wrong. Didn't even take his wand with him and he was still getting his homework done. All the supplementary reading he did really helped too. Made sure he didn't fall behind. "I won't tell anyone, promise but my friend Olly's a Slytherin too and he's really nice. So was my mum. There were some girls that tried ripping my notepad apart when they caught the quill taking notes of them though..." THOSE Slytherins hadn't been nice at all.
After she'd taken a second look, it was his turn to glance through the telescope. It was absolutely AMAZING just how well he could see the moon after a charm was added--you couldn't get this kind of view with just any telescope afterall. "Does he ever look at anything else? Anything...not so in our closets?" He was still new and didn't know how the Professor did all his lessons so he couldn't really say but his quill WAS jotting down everything the Prefect said in regards to the Professor's moon obsession and closet tendencies--don't ask him, his quill wrote it. "Theo..phi..lus. Heyyyy...it really DOES look like a donut." It sounded familiar. Like something he'd recently read.
