There were a lot of craters on the moon. Milo was looking through his telescope lens and judging the size of the ones he came across. He knew that all of the craters would be acceptable for the homework assignment but he wanted to find the biggest or more interesting he laid his eyes on.

The Sea of Tranquility he had heard about previously before even taking Astronomy here at Hogwarts. It was famous, so he had picked it. The Sea of Moisture crater was chosen for its odd name (well it was just really dark so maybe it was deep but when he had seen the name he just HAD to pick it). How could it be moist if there wasn't any water on the moon?

For his third crater, Milo was looking for something tiny. Finding a small crater would be a bit harder and he concentrated as he moved his telescope in very tiny increments until he finally spotted it--just there in the top left quadrant of the visible face. Checking his textbook's diagram he saw that the crater's name was Plato. Milo used his quill to add some notes about Plato to his parchment.

There, that was finished. He could do the writing portion when he work up. It was cold and getting late. The Claw packed his textbook and parchment up into his bag and took his telescope down. Once he was finished packing, he left the Observatory and made his way back to Ravenclaw Tower.
