Okay, this was a whole lot harder than people were leading on--than the Professor had led on to. The transformation itself had gone well and he was now, in his opinions, the most adorable kitten in existence. The only problem came with navigating his way around in this form. He'd tried pouncing and hopping and something like skipping after getting down off the couch but Merlin even THAT was hard and had him falling on his face.
How did anyone do anything on four legs? You had to make sure they were all coordinated together so that you didn't end up having them criss crossing. Forget bounding around the Common Room like the agile creature he now was, the kid was still trying to make sure he didn't hit into things.
One of the coolest parts had to be his heightened sense of smell and hearing. It was like a whole new world had opened up to him in the space of downing one potion and it was FANTASTIC! Blaise walked around--stumbling here and there--with his nose stuck high in the air taking in all the smells. Sure not all of them were pleasant but he wanted to try guessing them all anyway.
Such interesting experiences cats got. He'd have to let one know the next time he ran into one.
