OH MAN THAT WAS ANNOYING. BUT She wasn’t a dog - so she stopped turning and gave up, looking for something else to play with.
OH! There was something shiny!
Pounce!jumping in front of the fire, she pounced on the light reflection on the floor and tapped her paw on it. Oh man, that didn’t catch it! Moving her other front paw in front of her she tried to catch it with both paws.
… Which didn’t work either.
NOT FAIR. Leaning back on her hunches, she pounced forward into a running jump at the sofa, clinging then clawing her way up to finally join kitten!Lance on the sofa.
There was one last thing she wanted to do, and that was curl up and take a CAT!NAP! Climbing onto the very top of the Gryffindor couch, he peered around, looking out for whoever was still in the common room and other possibly places he could go explore from this new point of view. The clawing of the couch from behind him made his ears twitch into the general direction, but he had a good idea of who was causing that now. No need to flip out. Besides, all the climbing and pouncing and just the general transformation altogether along with the warmth of the common room and smell of home which was a little different in cat form for some reason...
A lot of... new smells? Or were they just stronger?
His nose was suddenly closer to the couch, sniffing it. Smelled like people. Too much lotion or perfume and robes and books maybe. Adventures may have to wait until he was human again. He would be quite content with just sitting there observing for the remainder of their time. |
