And he's always so polite. Not surprised he was so nice to you." Just so she knew, Alec wasn't one of those "fame" boys who earned tons of money and thought they were better than anyone else. Alec Summers was specia and one of them.

Oh... heh... that was a personal question... for him, anyway. Because only potions didn't fail him when he paid enough attention. Potions had been his company in those terrible lonely days. He had a way of easily understanding them when humans had been the most difficult...

"Because... I realised that if I pay enough attention, it always pays back. And... I just love the way the ingredients bond no matter how irrelevant they look." Those two were among the reasons. Good reasons too.
